Getting started with the Integrity Lead Center (ILC) can take 1-2 business days after you're marked "Good to Go" on your Equis Profile. While waiting for your profile to be created, take this opportunity to set up your virtual office and prepare for success. By following the steps below, you’ll ensure you're ready to hit the ground running as soon as your ILC profile is live.
Step 1: Set Up Your Virtual Office
One of the most important things you can do is ensure your virtual office is ready. Here’s a quick checklist:
Create a Zoom account: You'll need this for Daily Round Table (DRT) training sessions.
Set calendar reminders: Mark your calendar for the Monday - Friday DRT at 10:00 AM ET, as well as, Wednesdays and Fridays at 11:00 AM for new episodes on the Equis Podcast Network to stay connected and informed.
Create a Whereby account: Use this for virtual client sales meetings.
Sign up for the Insurance Toolkit: This valuable tool enables you to quote multiple carriers for your client by simply entering key data such as height, weight, and medical prescription history. Sign up here and use discount code: EQUIS15
Tip: For a detailed guide on setting up for success, refer to the Learning Module System (LMS) - Week 1: Preparing for Success, where you'll find an in-depth explanation of this checklist.
Step 2: Prepare with Training Resources
While awaiting access to ILC, take advantage of the resources available in the Equis Training Center. Specifically, head to the "In-Home Presentations" section. There, you'll find training videos where seasoned agents conduct full virtual appointments. Watching these can give you a clear understanding of how to navigate future appointments with clients.
Tip: For more information on mastering appointments and client interactions, check out Learning Module System (LMS) - Week 2: Sales Training - Dials & Appointments, for a comprehensive breakdown of the checklist and additional training resources.
Step 3: Connect with Your Manager
Don’t hesitate to reach out to your Direct Manager or Regional Manager. These mentors are here to guide you, helping you become field-ready and ensuring you’re fully prepared when your ILC profile is live.
By completing these steps, you’ll be well on your way to maximizing your success once your profile is active!
