This message was sent to all 2021 Incentive Trip qualifiers via email to update them on the status of the 2021 Incentive Trips. Below is a copy of the message that was sent.
It is with deep regret that I am reaching out to you today, to inform you that we have made the agonizing decision to cancel our 2021 incentive trips to Banff, Canada and Santa Fe, New Mexico. Unfortunately, considering the COVID-19 global pandemic, we have had to make this decision without plans for rescheduling. While this has not been an easy decision to make, it is necessary to ensure the safety of our agents, managers, and employees.
Our legal team is currently negotiating with the travel agency to recover funds that Equis has already paid towards both trips. It is our hope that we can distribute those funds to you no later than March 1, 2021. We will continue to provide you with updates throughout this process as they become available.
Bill, Rob, and I share in your disappointment in this decision; most of all not being able to spend time with you, our Equis family. We are confident that better days are ahead of us. We want to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation for your hard work and consistent leadership you provide Equis every day. On behalf of Bill, Rob, and I, we look forward to all being back together again in celebration of your accomplishments!
